Adding a live illustrator to a workshop is a bit different than having one at a massive conference. In a smaller room, the artist becomes part of the team. If you’re thinking about bringing Illuscribe into your next session, here is how to get the most out of it.

First, position the board where people can see it without straining, but not so close that it distracts the speaker. The magic happens when participants see their ideas "land" on the paper in real-time—it validates their input and keeps the momentum going.

Second, don’t be afraid to let the illustrator chime in or recap the board during breaks. It’s a great way to transition between topics. By the end of the workshop, you won’t just have a messy stack of post-it notes; you’ll have a clear, cohesive visual summary of every decision made.
